Guest License
To apply for a Namibian Guest Amateur Radio License please follow these steps:

2. Make a certified copy of both your passport and amateur radio license.
3. A letter of recommendation is required from the NARL to the Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN).
Please use the NARL Contact Us page to get in touch with the NARL. We can assist with this letter as well as any questions regarding the CRAN application form. Once communication is established with the NARL, please forward a copy of your license and passport.
4. The recommendation letter by the NARL will be forwarded to you and CRAN. The NARL will supply you with the email address of CRAN.
5. Complete the application form using the Adam Brown example below. Please use your own address since the example is a template only.
6. Please send the application form, letter of recommendation from the NARL, certified copy of your passport and amateur radio license to the Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN) at the email address provided to you by the NARL.
7. The fee for the guest license is about N$120-00. CRAN will issue you with an Invoice. The invoice can be paid using the banking details provided by them. Send the proof of payment to the Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN).
8. (Optional) Please register on this website if you need access to the Repeaters in Namibia. Remember to add your callsign after your name in the Name field of the registration page.
